What it is
The body doesn't invent symptoms. When someone lives under stress for years, hormones, digestion and sleep all change. The body has simply been running in emergency mode for too long — and it has been telling you the whole time. The point is to hear it.
Here we look not at the plate, but at the state you live in: where it started and what to do about it. I'm a psychological counsellor with a diploma specialisation in psychosomatics — and someone who has walked this path myself.
What a session looks like
A 60-minute session — online or in person in London. A conversation, not a lecture: no ready-made templates and no homework for the sake of it.
You can come with a separate request, or build counselling into your nutrition support — then we work with the body and the mind in parallel.
Who it's for
- “I'm the responsible one”, “I can't switch off”, “it's easier to do it myself” — and you already know what that costs your body
- Tiredness a holiday doesn't fix, and a background sense that something isn't right
- Your health has become a source of worry rather than something to rely on
- Food has become a way of coping with tension, and you want to understand why
Honest about the limits
Psychological counselling is not psychotherapy and not medical care. It doesn't replace treatment and doesn't work with acute conditions. If things are hard enough right now to put your safety at risk, please contact your GP or the emergency services.
